Today’s guest is an entrepreneur that founded a great company
that is not solely focused on growth.
The software he built is called Sifter, an extremely popular
bug and issue tracking application for companies that
develop software.
It went live on December 4th, 2008 and became my full-time
endeavour in July of 2010. He launched Sifter by building up an
email list of about 1,000 people by blogging about bug tracking and
other development-related topics. Build the audience and then the
product.
He is also the author of Starting + Sustaining, a practical guide
for building and maintaining your own web businesses.
Now, let’s hack…
